Beale signed professionally for the Brisbane Broncos from Logan Brothers.[1][2] Beale made his first grade debut in a 22-20 loss to Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the 2009 NRL season, where he came in to the side at full-back as a last minute replacement for Karmichael Hunt.[3] He had previously been playing for the Broncos' Toyota Cup side.[1] In October 2011 Beale was named in the New Zealand Kiwis Squad to play in the Four Nations Tournament in London. Beale made his debut against Australia in Newcastle on 28th October 2011 playing as centre. He played all games in the tournament scoring two tries against Wales.
Beale played for the Junior Kangaroos in 2010.[4]
He is a relative of All Black great Zinzan Brooke and was named in New Zealand 19-man squad for the 2011 ANZAC Test.[4] Beale however did not play in the match.
Beale was named in the New Zealand Rugby League Team again in October 2011 to travel to the UK for the 2011 Rugby League Four Nations series. Beale played all games in the series.
