Beale made his debut against Australia in Newcastle on 28th October 2011 playing as centre. He played all games in the tournament scoring two tries against Wales.

Beale played for the Junior Kangaroos in 2010.[4]

He is a relative of All Black great Zinzan Brooke and was named in New Zealand 19-man squad for the 2011 ANZAC Test.[4] Beale however did not play in the match.
